Guess what, I finally found time to do some tweaks to the Essentials script package for Photoshop, and those little tweaks will take your workflow to new productivity heights!

What's new?

Auto-update render passes

Yep. I've been meaning to code this for a while.

Now, with a simple click you can update all your render passes with their new version that your client asked for. It still keeps a neat backup of your older passes in case you need them.

It also conveniently convert your layers in case they are not in the right format for the script to work.

Right now layer masks are not taken into account due to some weird bug from Photoshop that I need to figure out. But as soon as these are good to go, I'll update the package and you'll be able to download the update.

Folder Structure Check

Since I kept receiving emails from customers having issues with the folder structure and that 99% of the time it was simply because one layer was missing, I've included a little "Folder Structure Check" action that will check if you have everything you need. And if you don't, it will create placeholders layers so that the main action Folder Structure can run seamlessly.

Those are two simple updates but they will for sure make a great difference in how you start and update your files and this definitely will compound over time into several hours saved.

Updating is free for existing customers, and the product is cheaper now!

Also, just to clarify, but if you already own the product, you can download the new version for free (then you just need to copy the two new scripts into your plugins folder, and use the new action file in PS). And if you don't own it yet, well, just buy it already! I've actually lowered the price a little, and included Purchasing Power Parity so that if you're from specific zones of the globe you can get a little discount. So don't miss out!
